Chiropractic Care

What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic care focuses on the relationship between the spine, nervous system, and overall body function. Through gentle, precise adjustments, chiropractic care helps improve movement, reduce tension, and restore better balance throughout the body. Many people seek chiropractic care for back pain, neck pain, headaches, posture concerns, pregnancy-related discomfort, and general wellness care for the whole family.

Dr. WippermanMeet Your Skilled and Compassionate Doctor

Dr. David Wipperman has cared for families in the St. Louis area for more than 35 years. A 1985 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, he brings a well-rounded approach that combines chiropractic care, nutrition, and functional medicine. His goal is to help patients better understand their health, improve mobility, and feel more at ease in their daily lives.

Dr. Wipperman works with patients of all ages, including children, expectant mothers, busy professionals, and adults seeking long-term wellness care. Patients appreciate his clear explanations, thoughtful recommendations, and warm, down-to-earth manner.

As chiropractors, we are trained to locate and correct subluxations. A subluxation is a vertebra that is out of place, causing irritation of the surrounding nerves. This nervous system interference impairs the normal flow of communication between your brain and your body, resulting in health problems such as pain, dysfunction of organs and other issues.

Since your brain and nervous system control everything your body does, it’s important to keep them healthy and functioning properly. When messages from your brain are delivered correctly to your body, your cells, organs, and every system of your body can heal and function at a higher level.

Using State-of-the-Art Tools

We use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to help us locate any areas of subluxation. We offer on-site X-rays, as well as CLA INSiGHT™ scanning technology. These scans include surface electromyography (sEMG) and thermography assessments to show us where your nervous system is irritated.

Our goal is for people to experience the power of chiropractic to unlock their own innate healing potential, so that in the future, we’re the first place they think of, rather than the last.
